About Janice Nickole

Janice Nickole Price, Author of “Secrets To Home Decorating Success” has been designing homes for twenty years and can tell you she’s seen a lot of changes in her career.  “Today’s homes are more comfortable, inviting, casual and not as stiff or staunch as it used to be.  As the dining rooms become obsolete and the kitchen/great room floor plan become the heart or hub of the home, you see the trend with every new build.”

Janice Nickole’s love for decorating started at a very early age.  “I still remember that day… I was ten and I was designing my bedroom.  I had all my plans; the color scheme, furniture layout and design style all carefully planned and laid out on my bed.  I knew exactly how I wanted my bedroom to be decorated.  The look, the feel, everything.”

Janice Nickole received her education from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and went on to a Directors position at a very large design company.  From there she launched her own successful interior design consulting company and has been a professional writer for well over ten years, writing a wide variety of articles of interests including home decorating, hobbies, news & professions, business and marketing, as well as a host of popular product reviews for both the computer and health & fitness industry.

She published her own interior design book, “Secrets To Home Decorating Success” and was former publisher of “Designers Emporium”, a tabloid journal written for the Architectural Industry for the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Her career was accentuated in real estate in 2008 after completing Real Estate Training and entering the profession.

Personal hobbies include playing poker with friends & family, watching DVD movies with her husband, fishing, relaxing in the spa, shopping and home decorating.  Her personal pursuits are to make a difference in the world one home at a time by sharing her natural design abilities.

How Janice Nickole defines success:  “To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.  This is to have succeeded.”
