The purchase of carpet is something that should be approached with considerable care. Beware of spending large amounts of money because the rug trade business is like the used car market.  

Some rug dealers can only be described as of somewhat dubious in character. It is better to go to a reputable dealer who will give you a fair deal on your purchase.
