Wall Decor

Wall décor consists of many different applications and choices such as wall pictures and frames, tapestries, wallpaper, paint, fabric, leather, wood panels, tiles, stone, glass, mirror and more.

Depending on your design theme will help you determine the wall décor of choice and mood you want to create.
You’ll want to consider your wall size to determine your pick of wall décor with of course, your color scheme in mind. If you wall is expansive, consider a wall picture grouped in three and four pictures together.

Wallpapers are another great pick and come in numerous colors, patterns, styles and textures.  They also come in murals, decorative borders and in fabric textures.  Fabric wallpaper can come in textures of satins, silks, suede’s and leathers.

Paint is a popular choice because it is inexpensive and easy to apply.  There is an infinite range of color possibilities and finishes such as matte, semi-gloss and high gloss.  You can also paint faux finishes to replicate leather, stone, sea grass and many others.

Wood paneling adds a natural look and is used to achieve an Asian design theme.

Mirrors are a great pick to reflect something beautiful back into the room.  For instance, hang a mirror on the wall opposite of the backyard full of palm trees and water fall to bring the outdoors in. 

Glass will give an illusion of increased space in the room. 

Stone wallcoverings come in a variety of choices such as marble, granite, travertine, ceramic, slate and limestone. Tiles are another great choice with all kinds of colors, textures and patterns to choose from.  It’s the perfect choice for kitchens, bathrooms and pools.
